DENTAL THERAPIST

Job Summary

The Department of Health is seeking a qualified Dental Therapist to join the SMU Oral Health Centre.

Requirements

A degree in Dental Therapy and registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Therapist are required. At least 5 years’ experience as a Dental Therapist is necessary, with teaching and learning experience being an added advantage.

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and learning of Dental Therapy and Oral hygiene students, assessing and evaluating students, participating in community-based programs, and providing clinical service to SMUOHC.
