Are you an energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for service in the banking industry? Capitec Bank is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Bellville, Western Cape.

In this vital role, you will drive operational excellence by bringing together cross-functional elements to support effective supply chain operations. You’ll be involved in supply planning, analysis, and problem-solving, managing workflows, supporting process improvements, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing supply planning processes to meet business demands.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis and problem-solving to resolve supply-related issues.
  • Supporting and driving process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency.
  • Engaging effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

We require 2–3 years of experience in supply chain coordination, with a strong focus on planning, analysis, and operational support within a fast-paced environment. You should have a proven track record in managing supply planning processes, including inventory control, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies. Strong analytical capabilities are essential for identifying trends, resolving supply-related issues, and driving continuous improvement. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and familiarity with inventory management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation practices will be a significant advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational AND a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management.
  • Ideal: A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management.

Knowledge:

You should possess a solid understanding of supply chain principles, planning methodologies, and relevant systems and tools. Working knowledge of coordination and administration practices, including scheduling, stakeholder management, and process execution in a business environment is important. Proficiency in compiling and generating operational reports and performance metrics, along with an awareness of business and management fundamentals relevant to supply chain operations, is also required. Familiarity with internal and external communication protocols to support supplier and stakeholder engagement, relationship-building strategies, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements impacting supply chain processes will be beneficial.
