

Coordinator II: Marketing (P8) (UJ Sport Division)
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is a vibrant and cosmopolitan institution, guided by its bold UJ Strategy 2035. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional to join our team as a Coordinator II: Marketing.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the coordination of marketing activities, including regular updates to the website and other social media sites. To arrange marketing activities which ensure that potential students and sports people are attracted to the university and UJ sport.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating success of marketing programmes/strategies of UJ Sports.
- Analyse UJ Sports data.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to conduct market research.
- Create promotional/marketing materials.
- Act as the marketing liaison for UJ Sports.
- Develop branded materials such as posters, flyers, and social media graphics.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Marketing or relevant qualification.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Project management qualification and or experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of marketing and communication experience within the discipline.
