

Coordinator: Credit Management
Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a knack for administration and compliance? Capitec Bank is seeking a dedicated Credit Management Coordinator to join our team in Sandton.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient administration of our retail credit committee and its sub-committees. Your main goal will be to ensure all procedures are strictly followed and regularly reviewed to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Efficiently manage and administer the retail credit committee and its sub-committees.
- Ensure all credit management procedures are followed correctly.
- Regularly review and update procedures to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
- Support the overall smooth operation of Capitec Bank’s credit management processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- 3 – 4 years of office and administrative experience in a similar environment.
- Proven experience with various software and systems.
- Experience in providing excellent customer or client relationship services.
Qualifications:
- A valid Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Understanding of the credit life cycle and various credit products.
- Strong knowledge of office administration processes.
- Familiarity with project management principles.
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Great planning, organising, and coordination skills.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Advantageous (Ideal) Requirements:
Experience:
- 4+ years of office and administrative experience in a similar environment, including software and system exposure.
- Previous experience in project coordination.
Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Credit Management or Finance.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Document Control.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Statutory Reporting.
