Coordinator: Credit Management

Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a knack for administration and compliance? Capitec Bank is seeking a dedicated Credit Management Coordinator to join our team in Sandton.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient administration of our retail credit committee and its sub-committees. Your main goal will be to ensure all procedures are strictly followed and regularly reviewed to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Efficiently manage and administer the retail credit committee and its sub-committees.
  • Ensure all credit management procedures are followed correctly.
  • Regularly review and update procedures to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
  • Support the overall smooth operation of Capitec Bank’s credit management processes.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

  • 3 – 4 years of office and administrative experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven experience with various software and systems.
  • Experience in providing excellent customer or client relationship services.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Understanding of the credit life cycle and various credit products.
  • Strong knowledge of office administration processes.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Great planning, organising, and coordination skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Advantageous (Ideal) Requirements:

Experience:

  • 4+ years of office and administrative experience in a similar environment, including software and system exposure.
  • Previous experience in project coordination.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Credit Management or Finance.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Document Control.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Statutory Reporting.
