Our law firm client in Bellville, Cape Town is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to manage property transfers.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the full transfer process, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation, and providing support to attorneys and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum5 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary (Transfers)
- Strong knowledge of property transfer processes and legislation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in conveyancing software and MS Office
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property transfers from instruction to registration
- Draft and prepare transfer documents and correspondence
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, banks, and the Deeds Office
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Manage and update files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Attend to queries and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders
- Assist with FICA compliance and verification
