Clinical Educator: Audiology

The Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Cape Town is seeking a Clinical Educator in Audiology.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, 25 hours per week position. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical education, academic scholarship, and relevant service within the division and department.

Requirements

• 4-year professional degree in Audiology
• 3 years of experience in clinical practice
• 1 year of experience in facilitating university students’ clinical education
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Clinical supervision of undergraduate students
• Development of clinical sites for optimal student learning
• Scholarship to encourage evidence-based practice
• Administrative and management duties
