Job Summary
The Department of e-Government is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to serve as the Independent Chairperson of the Risk Management Committee.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have extensive expertise in Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations, COSO model, Public Sector Risk Management Framework. Previous experience of serving in the Risk Management Committee and/or Audit Committee will be advantageous, including having knowledge of Information Technology.
Duties
The Chairperson will assist the Accounting Officer in the effective execution of his responsibilities regarding oversight on governance, risk management, internal control, legal and internal/external auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulate and discharge all the responsibilities as contained in the Risk Management Committee Charter.
- Provide oversight on the review and monitoring of the implementation of the risk management framework, policy, and strategy within the Department.
- Provide guidance on the integration of risk management into planning, monitoring, and reporting process.
