Job Overview

Manganese Metal Company, based in Nelspruit, is seeking a Buyer to join their Supply Chain Department. The company is the world’s only non-China based producer of high-grade electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) and the world’s largest producer of99.9% (selenium free) EMM.

Main Purpose of the Job

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products and services for the company, as well as providing an administration service to the Purchasing Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Timeous placement and delivery of orders
• Source and procure products and services correctly and on time
• Administer the vendor master data
• Perform administration related to purchasing
• Maintain good housekeeping

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need a National Diploma in Purchasing and at least2 years’ experience in a purchasing environment.

Working Conditions

This is an office-based position.
