Your Role as a Business Intelligence Analyst II

As a BI Analyst with a strong emphasis on credit analytics, you will be instrumental in transforming large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. These insights will directly support our strategic priorities. This is a hands-on, technical role requiring strong data skills and the ability to independently drive projects from initial concept to successful delivery.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Minimum Experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• Strong credit experience, including managing credit requests, performing ad hoc analysis, and supporting credit teams.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or equivalent role (e.g., Data Analyst), covering data analytics, BI methods and tools, data warehousing, and the data lifecycle.
• Proven experience in identifying, quantifying, and delivering value by solving business challenges using data.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience working with data on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in building compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
• Proficiency in using SQL to prepare and analyze data.

Key Knowledge Areas:

• Basic experience in using low/no-code AutoML on modelling tools such as Power BI or AWS Sagemaker.
• Understanding of Design Thinking principles.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling.
• Familiarity with The Data Product Life Cycle (DPLC).
• Understanding of data privacy and security regulations and best practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of data quality and incident management.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile project management methodology.

Bonus Points (Ideal):

• Previous experience in business analysis within the banking sector.
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
