Job Summary
The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is seeking to appoint two Associate Lecturers in Industrial Psychology. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and supportive Faculty dedicated to teaching, research, and overall student development.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for:
- Facilitating learning and teaching at the undergraduate level in Industrial Psychology;
- Conducting research and publishing;
- Undertaking Honours level research supervision;
- Participating in community engagement and outreach;
- Conducting academic administration.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- An Honours degree (NQF level8) in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management;
- A Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management is an added advantage;
- At least one year of experience in tutoring, graduate lecturing assistance, or other teaching support roles;
- Demonstrated competence in data analysis specialised software packages (e.g. SPSS);
- Registration as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA is an added advantage.
