Associate Lecturer in Industrial Psychology (2 posts) – internal only – (2111)

Job Summary

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is seeking to appoint two Associate Lecturers in Industrial Psychology. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and supportive Faculty dedicated to teaching, research, and overall student development.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for:

• Facilitating learning and teaching at the undergraduate level in Industrial Psychology;
• Conducting research and publishing;
• Undertaking Honours level research supervision;
• Participating in community engagement and outreach;
• Conducting academic administration.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• An Honours degree (NQF level8) in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management;
• A Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology/Human Resource Management is an added advantage;
• At least one year of experience in tutoring, graduate lecturing assistance, or other teaching support roles;
• Demonstrated competence in data analysis specialised software packages (e.g. SPSS);
• Registration as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA is an added advantage.
