ASSISTANT: INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER – (2084)

Job Summary

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is seeking an Assistant Instructional Designer to support the Centre for Innovative Education & Communication Technologies (CIECT) in driving emergent technologies and innovative collaborative projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the design and daily operations support of interactive online environments and effective usage of eTools within the institutional learning management system (LMS) and other integrated learning platforms.
• Meeting established deadlines and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Assisting with the design and development of instructional design workshops and training content.
• Co-facilitating instructional design workshops.
• Assisting with the creation of interactive online content within the institutional LMS.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) or equivalent, with relevant experience in a Learning Management System environment.
