Are you an energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for excellent client service in the banking sector? Capitec Bank is seeking a dedicated Client Care Chat Support Agent to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg!

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for Capitec clients, providing essential support and assistance through chat channels for various banking queries.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Client Care Chat Support Agent, your main duties will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative service and support to Capitec Bank’s clients.
  • Utilising your product knowledge to address enquiries and resolve complaints related to account information and card transactions.
  • Offering essential support to clients using Capitec Bank’s Internet Banking and Mobile Banking services.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Experience

  • Minimum: 1 – 2 years of experience in an inbound contact centre.
  • Proven customer service experience is crucial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Knowledge

  • Minimum: Strong understanding of call centre processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with customer care and service protocols.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient telephonic / call handling skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Willingness to work regular shifts, including weekends or rotational standbys.
