

Accounts Receivable Clerk
A leading financial services firm in Mauritius is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support their accounting team.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure the company’s financial health.
Key Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Netsuite (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Key Duties
- Generate and send invoices for products or services rendered
- Accurately record and track all incoming customer payments
- Reconcile accounts and match payments to outstanding invoices
- Follow up on overdue payments and resolve outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status
Key Personal Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and receivables processes
