Who Can Apply?

- You must be a South African citizen.
- Ideally, you should come from communities located near Harmony Gold’s operations.
- You need to meet specific academic requirements:
For Engineering Studies:
- Mathematics: A solid Level 5 (60%) or higher
- Physical Science: A solid Level 5 (60%) or higher
- English: A solid Level 5 (60%) or higher
Heads Up! Important Additional Requirements:
- If you’re currently in Grade 12, remember to submit your Grade 11 final results AND your current Grade 12 results.
- Already rocking it at a tertiary institution? You’ll need to submit your full academic transcripts.
- Please note: Studies at TVET colleges and private institutions are not covered by this bursary.
