If you’re applying for more than one post, you need to submit a separate application (with its own correct subject line) for each!
What Must Be Submitted?
- A fully completed and signed new Z83 form (you can download it from www.dpsa.gov.za).
- A comprehensive CV only.
- Hold up! At this first application stage, DO NOT attach copies of your ID, matric, or qualifications. They only need your CV and Z83 form for now.
- If you’re shortlisted (yay!), they’ll then ask you to submit certified copies of your:
- Matric certificate
- Academic record and qualification(s)
- SA ID
- SAQA evaluation (if you have foreign qualifications)
- Proof of permanent residence (if you’re not an RSA citizen but hold permanent residence)
Important Notes for Applicants
- The closing date is 14 November 2025. Seriously, don’t be late or your application won’t be accepted!
- Make sure ALL fields of the Z83 form are completed in full.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you haven’t heard back within 4 months after the closing date, unfortunately, you should consider your application unsuccessful.
- If you make it to the shortlist, expect some checks: qualification verification, security clearance, citizenship checks, credit record checks, and employment verification. You might even do a practical pre-entry assessment to test your skills!
- If you get an internship in a place outside your home area, remember you’ll need to arrange your own accommodation and transport.
- The department is committed to promoting representativity, so posts will be filled in line with their Employment Equity Plan.
