Faith and fellowship shines at FullFlame’s Easter celebration

Ruimsig — The FullFlame Life Church hosted a vibrant Easter celebration filled with a joyful community celebration that combined faith, food, and fun for all ages.

The event began with an Easter egg hunt tailored for children, but with a thoughtful twist.

According to the church’s community outreach co-ordinator, Thato Phiri, the hunt was designed to incorporate Bible principles and teachings, turning a traditional activity into an opportunity to reflect on the message of Christ’s resurrection.

Once the eggs were found and smiles were shared, attendees gathered for a fellowship meal.

Homemade lasagna and cheesecake cups were on the menu, offering a taste of home and a chance for members of the church and the broader community to connect and strengthen bonds.

The celebration’s most powerful moment came during the praise and worship session.

Church members lifted their voices in song, filling the venue with an atmosphere of gratitude and reverence in honour of Jesus’ resurrection.

Adding to the excitement of the day, a raffle was held, and one lucky winner walked away with the coveted Geldhof Easter Bunny prize.

“This celebration was all about fun, fellowship, and faith,” said Thato.

“We wanted to bring people together to reflect on the meaning of Easter and to enjoy being part of a loving, faith-filled community.”
