Important Note: The application for an ALC Scholarship MUST be submitted via a supervisor at a South African university where you are, or will be, enrolled. Make sure your South African-based supervisor provides a strong motivation for your application!

What Does It Cover?

This bursary aims to give you a solid financial boost for your studies! Here’s what you can expect, subject to funding availability:

  • For Master’s Level Studies: R100,000 per annum for up to two years of funding support.
  • For Doctoral Studies: R140,000 per annum for up to three years of funding support.
