Hey Mzansi graduates! Are you ready to kickstart your career with a fantastic opportunity? The Department of Employment and Labour’s Compensation Fund is offering an incredible Graduate Internship Programme that could be your ticket to professional success!
While we call it a ‘bursary’ on Bursaries Room to help you find it easily, this is actually a fully-funded graduate internship designed to give you real-world experience and a steady income. It’s a chance to gain valuable skills, build your network, and get your foot in the door with a major government institution. Plus, you’ll be earning a monthly stipend of R7,860.40 – how cool is that?
Who Can Apply?
This programme is specifically for unemployed South African graduates who haven’t participated in any previous graduate internship programmes. If you’ve got a NQF Level 6 qualification (or higher) in fields like Business Management, Public Administration, Financial Accounting, Internal Audit, Law (LLB/BA Law), Supply Chain Management, or even Office Administration, then there’s likely a spot for you!
The Compensation Fund is looking for talented individuals across various departments. Here are just a few of the exciting areas you could join:
- Employer Services (Registration, Assessment, Compliance)
- Statutory Services (Law graduates!)
- Internal Audit
- Treasury & Investment Management
- Medical Billing & Claims
- Supply Chain Management
Each stream has specific qualification requirements, so make sure to check the detailed list when you apply to find the perfect fit for your skills!
What Does It Cover?
This isn’t just an internship; it’s a 24-month fixed-term programme designed to nurture your talent. You’ll receive a generous monthly stipend of **R7,860.40** (unless otherwise stated for specific roles), ensuring you’re compensated for your hard work and dedication.
