  • What you’ll learn: Get hands-on experience in supporting agricultural production, identifying market opportunities, planning market days, and assisting with project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Internship: Youth Coordination

Passionate about empowering young people and shaping the future of Joburg’s youth? This is your chance!

  • Minimum Requirements: A BA Degree in Development Studies or Social Sciences (NQF Level 7).
  • What you’ll do: You’ll support awesome youth development programmes designed to empower young people across Johannesburg. This involves administrative support, coordinating with different organisations, and ensuring services reach those who need them.
  • What you’ll learn: Gain valuable skills in coordinating youth initiatives, administering empowerment programmes, liaising with stakeholders to integrate youth services, and providing essential reports and administrative support.

No matter which stream you choose, both opportunities require strong communication skills (both written and verbal), a good understanding of community development, project management and coordination abilities, and computer literacy (especially MS Word and Excel). You’ll also need to be great at working with various stakeholders and communities.
