  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • You need to have successfully completed your Grade 12.
  • You should have a strong interest and passion for nature conservation, environmental management, or marine science.
  • Be physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments, which includes the ability to swim and participate in physically demanding tasks.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, or be willing to obtain one soon after commencing your studies.
  • You must have no criminal record.
  • Bilingualism in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape is a definite advantage.
  • While not strictly required, a National Diploma in Nature Conservation or Marine Science is highly recommended for those pursuing this field.
