UOW invites scholarship applications from Indian female students with weighted average marks of 75 or above.
The University of Wollongong (UOW) India has opened applications for the Women Leaders in FinTech and Data Analytics Scholarship for its July intake. Female postgraduate students who will commence their studies in 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply at the official website, www.uow.edu.au/india.
The UOW India scholarship for women offers a 50% reduction in tuition fees for female students pursuing financial technology, financial technology (extension), or computing (data analytics) programmes. The applicants should be Indian citizens with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75 or above.
The UOW FinTech scholarship cannot be availed by students who are already recipients of other tuition-based scholarships, bursaries, or sponsorships. Students receiving stipend-based support are exempt from this condition.

UOW Scholarship 2025
The data analytics scholarship aims to encourage female students to pursue careers in digital skills and leadership by easing financial pressures on women. The scholarship opens opportunities for future women leaders in tech and data, according to an official statement.
The Women Leaders in FinTech Scholarship 2025 has been awarded to Shivangi Mishra. The scholarship was initiated last year with Cerin Elsa Joji, a student of the FinTech (extension) programme at the University of Wollongong.
Speaking about women in technical fields, Nimay Kalyani, campus director of UOW India, said, “We’re committed to creating opportunities for women to thrive in areas where they’ve historically been underrepresented. Through this scholarship, we hope to reduce financial barriers and support a new generation of female leaders in the rapidly increasing field of technology and analytics.”
UOW India also offers a variety of other scholarships, including the High-Achiever Scholarship with a 50% tuition fee reduction, another High-Achiever Scholarship with a 30% fee reduction, a Merit Scholarship with a 30% reduction, and an Early Bird Scholarship with a 20% reduction.
