Scholarship Description:
The University of Otago in New Zealand is offering the China Scholarship Council Doctoral Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024. International students who want to pursue a PhD program are eligible to apply. The scholarship includes a tuition fee waiver for up to 4 years of full-time study, as well as a top-up of the China Scholarship Council Scholarship monthly stipend to the value of a University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship stipend.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must meet the eligibility standards set by the China Scholarship Council to apply for and receive one of its scholarships.
- Applicants must have admission into the PhD program at the University of Otago.
- Unless otherwise stated, Doctoral and Master’s scholarships are open only to Domestic Fee Paying Students. International candidates studying for professional doctorates are eligible to apply, but the tuition fee waiver will be capped at the domestic rate if awarded a scholarship.
