Bursary Description

Scholarship Description:

 The University of Hertfordshire is offering dual Ph.D. awards for international and domestic students. The applicants should be willing to pursue a Ph.D. in Human and activity detection in ambient assisted living scenarios that involve both elements of artificial intelligence and robotics. Candidates also need to spend the first and third year of their degree at the University of Hertfordshire, while they are supposed to spend the second year in Sydney, Australia.

Candidates with good programming skills and experience will be preferred. 

Degree Level:

University of Hertfordshire UK Dual PhD Awards in Human and Activity Detection 2022/2023 is available to undertake PhD level programs at University of Hertfordshire.

Available Subjects:

Human and activity detection in ambient assisted living scenarios

Scholarship Benefits:

This is a three-year funded project to begin in 2022 and funding covers UKRI stipend plus tuition fees. The starting date is negotiable, but we would like the applicant to start no later than September 2022.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have a very strong first degree(Honours Class 1 or 2) or a Master of research/philosophy degree in Cybernetics, Computer Science, Electronics, or other relevant areas. Also due to the dual award nature, Candidate degrees should equate to the Australian equivalent.
