The University of the Arts London (UAL) is offering up to 5 means-tested scholarships worth £25,000 each, available to international students pursuing a taught master’s course at one of UAL’s renowned Colleges or Institutes (excluding UAL Online). The scholarship provides significant financial support to creative talent from selected countries to study in one of the world’s leading art and design universities.

📘 Any full-time or part-time taught postgraduate course at UAL leading to one of the following degrees:
Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, or MSc

🎓 Master’s Degree Scholarship (Taught)

Who can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

• ✅ Hold an offer for an eligible master’s course starting in 2025/26 at any UAL College or Institute
• ✅ Be domiciled in one of the following countries:
  Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey, South Africa
• ✅ Have a household income of £55,000 or less (or equivalent in local currency)
• ✅ Not already hold a UK postgraduate qualification
• ✅ Submit a personal statement answering four key questions (max. 350 words each)

How are Applicants Selected?

By a UAL panel based on:

• Financial need
• Potential impact of your postgraduate education
• Commitment to social justice and environmental stewardship in your home country

💷 £25,000 tuition fee waiver (paid directly toward your course fees)

📆 Unused funds (if any) carry over to Year 2 if applicable

How Long Will the Award Last?
🎓 One academic year or until the full £25,000 is applied to tuition fees (whichever comes first)

How to Apply:

1. Apply and receive an offer for an eligible course at UAL
2. From mid-January 2025, go to your UAL Applicant Portal
3. Under the ‘My Finance and Funding’ tab, find and submit the scholarship application form
4. Upload all required supporting documents (proof of income and address)
