Sapienza University of Rome Scholarships 2024/2025 in Italy is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Bachelor, Masters level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Sapienza University of Rome . The deadline of the scholarship is 29 Jul 2024.

Scholarship Benefits:
- Tuition for our Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes is€ 300-1500/year, according to country of residence (visit “Tuition Fees and Benefit” for further details).
- Sapienza University of Rome is able to offer such convenient rates due too public funding by the Italian Ministry of Higher Education. Eligible Nationalities:
These scholarships are open to international students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students applying for a Bachelor’s programme must hold a high school diploma earned after at least 12 years of studies;
- Students applying for a Master’s programme must hold at least a 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university in a relevant discipline;
- Additionally, all students must have at least an upper-intermediate knowledge of English OR Italian (B2 level), depending on their chosen programme. Some programmes also require students to sit a mandatory admission test (e.g. Medicine and Surgery).
Application Procedure:
Here are the primary steps for international students applying to programs:
- Check if a pre-selection application is required for your chosen program (refer to the list provided).
- Register an account on Infostud, Sapienza’s student services portal.
- Review and follow the guidelines outlined in the “Call for Admissions” for your program, accessible at corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it (“Apply” section), as well as on the International Student Office webpage.
- For non-EU students, apply for a study visa via WWW.UNIVERSITALY.IT by the deadline of June 28, 2024.
- APPLICATION FEE:
All pre-selection candidates are required to pay a 30 euro application fee for each submitted application, with a maximum of 2 applications permitted per candidate per intake.
What is Pre Selection?
- A pre-selection application is an online submission that allows international students to undergo assessment well before the official Call for Applications is released.
- It is typically offered for most English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programs that do not require an in-person admission test, as well as for a limited number of Italian-taught programs.
- This application is particularly crucial for individuals applying for a study visa to enter Italy.
- Most programs will request pre-selection applicants to provide the necessary documents.
- Each student is permitted to apply for a maximum of 2 programs per academic year.

The following test scores are accepted: - IELTS 5.5 or higher
- TOEFL iBT 80 or higher
- Cambridge English B2 First or higher
- Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English – ISE II or higher
Please note that the above English language requirements are waived for:
- Native speakers of English
- Students holding an English-taught diploma/degree from an accredited institution in
the EU/EEA/Schengen or Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and USA. -
Students holding an International Baccalaureate, GCSE or comparable
diplomas/certificates.
