Kouga Wind Farm Bursary Programme 2024
Applications are open for the Kouga Wind Farm Bursary Programme for the 2024 academic year. The bursary aims to support students pursuing undergraduate degrees, diplomas, certificates, or trade skills. Financial assistance covers various educational expenses, and each student is assigned a mentor throughout their studies.
Bursary Criteria:
- Current registration or provisional acceptance for undergraduate studies (no postgraduate funding).
- Reside in KwaNomzamo, Umzamowethu, Sea Vista, or Kruisfontein.
- Under 29 years of age.
- Parents/guardians’ combined household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum.
Bursary Requirements for Current Beneficiaries:
- Passed at least 75% of 2023 academic year modules.
- Completed 50 hours of community service in 2023.
- Reapply for consideration for 2024 funding.
Supporting Documents for New Applicants:
- Copy of South African ID document.
- Grade 12 Certificate/Statement of Results.
- Grade 11 Final and most recent Grade 12 Results (if applicable).
- Full academic record from University/College (if currently or previously enrolled).
- Letter of provisional acceptance from University/College.
- Proof of income and/or confirmation of parents’ employment status.
- Proof of address, certified SASSA letter (if applicable), and parents’ 3 months bank statements.
