Bursary Description

The European Club Education Foundation has announced that applications are now open for the 2025 Women in Golf Club Management Bursary, a key initiative supporting the advancement of women in the golf industry.
The bursary will fund two places on the Club Management Association of Europe’s Management Development Programme – a highly regarded education pathway that equips club management professionals with the skills and knowledge to succeed in leadership roles.
Funded by The R&A as part of its commitment to growing participation among women and girls in golf, this bursary aims to provide career-changing opportunities for aspiring female leaders.
“This bursary is about real change,” said Torbjörn Johansson, CEO of ECEF. “By supporting women to gain access to world-class education and networks, we’re giving them the tools to rise into leadership roles and shape the future of the sport.
“The CMAE’s MDP has already seen strong female participation and proven results in career progression. With continued backing from The R&A, the 2025 bursary looks to build on that momentum and foster a more inclusive and dynamic industry.”
