Bursary Description

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizens;
  • Have been accepted/ registered/ applied for an undergraduate/ post-graduate/ masters full programme in

Disaster Risk Management, Disaster Risk Studies or Fire Services Technology qualification at a recognised Public Higher Institution of South Africa; and

  • Applications for Certificate courses or Ph.D. qualifications will NOT be considered for this funding.

ALLOWANCES

The Bursary Programme will cover the following:

  • 100% tuition fees, including registration and research allowance. Research allowances are capped at R11 000.00.

enter into a Bursary contract with the DCoG. The contract contains all general provisions related to the Disaster Risk

Management, Disaster Risk Studies or Fire Services Technology Bursary Programme.
