Scholarship Benefits:

The Dalarna University Scholarship offers recipients the following advantages:

  • The scholarship amount is applied directly to reduce your tuition fees, encompassing a range of 10% to 50% of your overall tuition expenses.
  • This awarded sum is automatically subtracted in fixed portions during each semester throughout your program’s duration.

Please note that these partial scholarships are exclusively available to students who pay tuition fees, and the expense for a full-time, one-semester study program (equivalent to 30 credits) at Dalarna University falls within the range of 43,500 to 70,000 SEK.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Dalarna University Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide.
  • You possess a bachelor’s degree that is equivalent to a Swedish bachelor’s degree, earned at an internationally recognized university.
  • You must provide evidence of English proficiency, typically through an international examination like TOEFL or IELTS, with a minimum score requirement (90 on the IBT for TOEFL or 6.5 overall on IELTS, with no sub-band score lower than 6.0).

Application Procedure:

To complete your scholarship application, follow these steps:

  • Fill out the scholarship application form and submit it along with the required documents. Upload your CV to your University Admissions account.
  • Include a recommendation letter from either an employer or a teacher in your University Admissions account.
  • Create a video lasting no more than 60 seconds, explaining why you deserve a scholarship from Dalarna University. Upload this video to a website or cloud storage, and provide the scholarship committee with the link to view it.
  • Do not send the video directly to Dalarna University. Before you proceed with the scholarship application, make sure you have already submitted your admissions application.
  • Deadline: January 01 – March 15, 2024 (Autumn Intake) /  September 01 – September 30, 2023 (January/ Spring intake)
