Fields of Study Covered
DTSA is offering bursaries for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Engineering: Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics
- Finance: Applied Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management
- Human Resource Management
- Information Technology
- Legal: LLB
- Marketing: Communication, Digital Media, Public Relations
- Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics
Bursary Coverage
The bursary covers:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Books
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 31 January 2025. If you don’t hear back by then, consider your application unsuccessful.
- Final 2024 academic results (Matric or tertiary) will play a key role in the selection process.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen under 35 years old.
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Be studying or planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields.
- Be attending or intending to attend a registered and accredited South African university.
- Have achieved:
- A minimum 70% average in Matric or
- A minimum 65% average at the tertiary level.
- Preference will be given to students studying in Pretoria and East London.
