Commonwealth Distance Learning Master’s Scholarships 2025/2026
Bursary Description
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the UK invites applications for the 2025/2026 Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships.
This programme offers talented students from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations the chance to pursue part-time master’s degrees with UK universities, all while studying from their home countries.
The CSC’s mission is to contribute to international development by supporting exceptional individuals, equipping them to drive positive change and leadership within their communities.
Who Can Apply?
- Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of, hold refugee status in, or be a British Protected Person from an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be permanently living in a developing Commonwealth country.
- Hold at least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree. In certain cases, applicants with lower qualifications but relevant experience may also be considered.
- Be unable to finance the cost of the programme independently.
Eligible Countries Include:
Bangladesh, Belize, Botswana, Cameroon, Dominica, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, and Zambia.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full coverage of tuition fees.
- Study-related grants where applicable.
- For any required UK-based study sessions: return airfare, visa fees, and a living allowance are included.
