We have an amazing opportunity for a Bursary Administrator. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

 
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong administrative support to the Bursary team. The ideal candidate will be the point of contact for all stakeholders, both internal and external, conduct regular reporting on all bursary information, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

You Bring:
  • Minimum 2- 3 years administration experience.
  • Computer literate (Prior experience using Microsoft suite)
 
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
  • Coordinate and review of student applications.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews for prospective bursary students.
  • Verification of all student and institution information.
  • Create acceptance/rejection letters and correspondence for students.
  • Liaise with students to complete and sign all relevant bursary documentation.
  • Ensure accurate bursary payments are made timeously and are in line with the allocated budgets.
  • Track payments and contract requirements.
  • Ensure all bursary information is properly stored and maintained.
  • Create a file/folder for each bursary student.
  • Deal with queries and liaising with both students and institutions via email, telephone or bursary management system.
  • Obtain updated examination results from students.
  • Assist with information relevant to BEE audits.
  • Point of contact for Marketing team in order to provide information and liaise with students for marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure students are kept updated on organization news.
  • Participate in and attend related company promotional events where required.
  • Relevant and regular reporting.
  • Ad hoc related projects and duties.
