Bursary Description

The Black Mountain Study Trust invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.

Bursary application closing date is 15 December 2023

The Black Mountain Study Trust offers bursaries for students residing in the Khai-Ma Municipal area in the Northern Cape Province who are pursuing Degree or Diploma studies in specific fields.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Residency: Must permanently reside within the Khai-Ma Municipal area in the Northern Cape Province.
  2. Education: Currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
  3. Fields of Study: Studying or intending to study towards a Degree or Diploma qualification in specified fields (Agriculture, Education, Finance, Human Resources, Medical, Social Work/Psychology).
  4. Institution: Studying or intending to study at a recognized and accredited South African University.

Application Process:

  1. Collect Application Forms: Obtain application forms from designated locations:
    • Aggeneys High School: 8 School St, Aggeneys, 8893
    • Pofadder High School: Springbok St, Pofadder, 8890
    • CLO Offices in Pella, Onseepkans, Pofadder, and Witbank
  2. Prepare Supporting Documents: Assemble necessary documents:
    • Certified copy of ID document
    • Matric latest results (if currently in Matric) – certified copy
    • Matric certificate (if completed Matric) – certified copy
    • Full university academic record (if currently studying) – on institution’s letterhead
    • Proof of University registration or admission for 2024
    • Proof of residence
  3. Submit Application: Complete the application form and attach the required documents.
  4. Deadline: The closing date for the Black Mountain Study Trust Bursary is 8 December 2023. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.
