Funds for schooling

The Armstrong Kin Club is now accepting applications for higher-education bursaries.

Up for grabs is a $5,000 bursary for post-secondary students in their second, third, fourth or higher year of schooling. The club is also awarding two $2,500 bursaries for registered trades programs.

To be eligible, students must display community involvement and leadership, and be available to present their application to the club, including future goals and why they should be awarded funds.

Applicants must name their school and program, list their extracurricular activities, and awards or honours received, a letter of recommendation and submit a personal statement.

The Kin Club is a service organization focusing on serving the needs of the local community and volunteer work.
