Applications are now open for the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation (AIG) Fellowship Programme. The AIG Fellowship programme gives outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the public sector an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of critical public policy challenges facing the continent.
Eligibility criteria
Position/Level:
– Must hold a position within the leadership cadres of Director Generals and Chief Executive Officers in the Public Service
Service Longevity:
– Minimum of six years before mandatory retirement age
Demonstrated Leadership:
– Must demonstrate measurable impact in public service delivery within the past five years
– Must provide quantifiable evidence of implementing successful reforms or improvements in their area of responsibility
Strategic Influence:
– Must oversee strategic initiatives in at least one of the following key sectors: Health, Education, Agriculture, Finance, Energy, Justice, Defence, and Security.
– Demonstrate experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Educational Qualification:
– Minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
– Evidence of continuous professional development in the last three years.
Organisational Endorsement:
– Must obtain formal endorsement from a respected Public Sector Leader (Head of the Civil Service, Minister, Governor, etc.)
Ethical Standing
– No pending disciplinary actions
– Clean and outstanding record of service
– Must pass security clearance
