We know many of you are practicing artists, and while we love diving into broader art topics, we wanted to dedicate this post to something more directly useful to you—exciting opportunities that you can apply for.
Likewise, for our art lovers and collectors, these opportunities are great places to discover new artists and emerging talents.
So, here we are, 5 emerging artist opportunities you should have on your radar:
Saatchi Yates has launched the 1st edition of their Fellowship Prize. The prize is open to all artists across the world in all forms of visual art, of all ages, of all backgrounds.
PRIZE: The winner will receive a solo exhibition in their London gallery in St. James’ and a tailored mentorship by Saatchi Yates.
DEADLINE: There is no deadline. The submission period will end when Saatchi Yates has found a winner.
There is also no laborious application process, in fact, all the gallery provides is an email address and a list of things they are not looking for:

Celebrating 10 years of the Jackson Art Prize, entries are now open to artists internationally.
PRIZE: There are 23 prizes to be won, including cash prizes between £500-£6000, plus opportunities to show work in exhibitions at the Affordable Art Fair and Bankside Gallery in London later this year.
DEADLINE: Open now until February 25th, 2025

The John Moores Painting Prize brings together the best in contemporary British painting. For artists based in the UK, the prize provides a platform for artists to inspire, disrupt and challenge the British painting art scene today.
PRIZE: Prizes range from £2000-£25,000 and a solo exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery
DEADLINE: Open now until March 24th, 2025

Another prize for UK-based artists only, within the first 7 years of their professional practice.
PRIZE: Inclusion in the prestigious New Contemporaries finalist exhibition, participation in an artist development programme, plus eligibility for exclusive residencies, studio bursaries, fellowships and scholarships.
DEADLINE: Applications will open March 3 – March 31, 2025

Mainly for UK-based artists, but also with a ‘Best Overseas Artist’ category, The Women in Art Prize is open to female artists over the age of 18.
PRIZE: There are multiple categories and prizes to be won here, with cash prizes from £500-£1000, as well as exhibition and media opportunities.
DEADLINE: Applications will open March 8 – June 8, 2025
