Who Can Apply?
Absa is looking for dynamic, emerging young leaders who meet the following criteria:
- Age: You must be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Academic Record: A strong academic performance is key, with a pass mark of 65% or higher. You can submit either your June 2025 preliminary results or your final matric results.
- Field of Study: You must be enrolling as a first-year undergraduate student at a public university in South Africa in 2026. Your degree must be in one of these fields:
- Commerce
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Science (including Health Science, but *excluding* Medical or Veterinary studies), Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
- Creative Arts
- Digital/Data Design
- Important Note: Your application must be submitted in your name as the prospective student attending the tertiary institution, not in the name of a parent or guardian.
