- You must be planning to study as a first-year undergraduate at a public university in South Africa in 2026.
- Your chosen field of study should be one of these:

- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Science (including health sciences, but excluding medical/veterinary)
- Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
- Creative Arts
- Digital/Data Design
