Scholarship Description:
The Emergency Social Fund (FSE) is a non-refundable cash benefit, free of any fees, which is intended to remedy specific situations arising from contingencies or economic and social difficulties, with a negative impact on the normal academic performance of the student, and that cannot be conveniently resolved within the framework of the support provided by the Social Action for Higher Education system.

Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Enrolled International and domestic students are eligible for this scholarship.
Application Procedure:
The application to the FSE can be submitted between the months of October and June of the academic year in which the student is enrolled and for which he requests support. The candidacy is instructed through an application addressed to the Rector of the University of Minho, in an application form, and delivered to the Social Action Services, in Braga or Guimarães, with all the supporting documents.
