About the Role

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will thrive on creating clean, intuitive user experiences and transforming design concepts into robust digital solutions. You will work within a collaborative team that values quality and innovation, utilizing modern technologies such as React.js, AWS, PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Education:

• Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Ideal/Preferred: A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology

Experience:

• 6+ years’ proven experience in front-end software development, project delivery, and implementation.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks like React.js and responsive design principles.
• Solid grasp of front-end architecture and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Knowledge:

• IT systems development processes (SDLC)
• Application development
• Advanced Programming Concepts, including:
  • Responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Browser compatibility issues and performance optimisation.
  • Front-end build tools and package managers.
• Front-end Design Patterns
• Version control
• Testing practices
