Who Can Apply?

- You must be an unemployed South African graduate.
- You need a B.Comm degree, National Diploma, or an equivalent qualification, with Accounting preferably as a major.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English are essential.
- You should be computer literate, especially with MS Word and Excel applications.
What Does It Cover?
While this is an internship providing crucial work experience, it also comes with a stipend to support you during your learning journey:
- You’ll receive a remuneration of R100 000 per annum.

During your time, you’ll be assisting with a variety of tasks crucial to municipal finance, including:
- Adhering to GRAP principles and budget procedures.
- Developing statistical reporting modules and financial policies.
- Preparing budgets, financial statements, and management reports.
- Performing reconciliations and financial analyses.
- Electronically capturing financial data.
- Handling asset management and insurance functions.
- Assisting with Revenue and Income Management.
- Supporting Expenditure and Supply Chain Management.
- Tackling any other finance-related administration tasks as needed.
