Scholarship Description:
Rio Tinto provides a graduate scholarship of $18,000 to a University of British Columbia (UBC) student who is pursuing a degree in pure or applied science and working on research related to Rio Tinto’s mining activities, as part of their dedication to research and innovation.

Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to international students, Permanent Residents and Canadians.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled or accepted in a first year Master’s or first or second year Doctoral studies in 2022-2023 academic year. The scholarship is non-renewable and students who received the scholarship in the past are not eligible to apply again.
