Specialist: Information and Technology Risk

Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced Specialist: Information and Technology Risk to join their team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will provide independent oversight, advice, and assistance to the business in identifying, evaluating, assessing, and treating information and technology-related risks.

Requirements

Minimum Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT Risk Management and/or Internal/External IT Auditing
• Proven experience in governance and oversight capacity
• Proven experience and understanding of Cyber and IT Security best practices

Ideal Experience:

• Banking industry experience and knowledge
• Experience in data privacy and related compliance
• Prior experience in a Cyber or IT Security role

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Compliance or Commerce

Ideal:

• Honours Degree in Risk and Compliance or Commerce
