The incredible Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) Media Scholarships are officially open! Imagine getting fully funded to Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, to attend a global conference focused on gender equality, health, and human rights. Yes, you heard that right!

The Women Deliver 2026 Media Scholarships are designed to help journalists and content creators from around the world attend the WD2026 Conference. It’s all about ensuring diverse voices, especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity, can participate and share their stories.
The conference itself, happening from 27–30 April 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, will spotlight the leadership and experiences of feminists, First Nations leaders, and advocates from the Oceanic Pacific and globally.
Who Can Apply?
If you’re a working media professional or a dedicated content creator, this could be your golden ticket! They’re looking for passionate individuals who create factual coverage on social issues. Here’s who can apply:
- Reporters, editors, producers, presenters/anchors
- Photojournalists, videographers, and broadcast teams
- Podcast/radio journalists and newsroom social/visual teams
- Freelancers with a commissioning/assignment letter
- Content creators who produce independent, factual coverage on social issues
They especially want to hear from you if:
- You have a demonstrated focus on gender equality, health, human rights, climate justice, development, or Oceanic Pacific issues
- You are a First Nations or Indigenous journalist/creator
- You identify as LGBTQIA+, a person with disabilities, internally displaced person, or a refugee, or come from an under-resourced community
- You’re an early-career journalist/creator and haven’t previously received a Women Deliver Conference Scholarship
What Does It Cover?
