Your Role as Manager: Data and Analytics

As the Manager: Data and Analytics at Capitec Connect, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge data-driven solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying key business opportunities through in-depth analysis.
• Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive models to enhance strategic decision-making.
• Translating complex strategic plans into clear, actionable insights.
• Promoting best practices in data analytics across the organization.
• Fostering collaboration and utilizing innovative solutions to strengthen Capitec’s leadership in data-driven insights.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Over 10 years of experience in a commercial setting, with at least 4 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of delivering value through data-driven decision-making, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in SQL for delivering complex analytical requirements.
• Experience in managing and influencing senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft, or Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Experience with low/no code AutoML tools like Power BI or AWS Sagemaker.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI.
• Knowledge of Big Data frameworks, including Hadoop/Kafka.
• Experience with Github or Git for version control.

Education

You should have:
