- You must be a South African Citizen.
- You must be unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme before.
- The MQA encourages applications from people with disabilities and gives preference to White, Coloured, and Indian applicants, aligning with their Employment Equity Plan.
Specific Internship Roles & Requirements:
1. Quality Assurance Intern
Unit: Quality Assurance Unit
- Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Human Resources Development/Management or Administration.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in these fields is a big plus!
- Key Exposure Areas: Quality Assurance, Workplace Approvals (WPA), learner certification, Quality Management System, and document control.
2. Skills Development and Research Intern
Unit: Stakeholder Relations Unit
- Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Social Sciences, Commerce, or HR with Economics/Statistics.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in these fields is an added advantage.
- Key Exposure Areas: Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), Annual Training Reports (ATRs), Skills Development Facilitator registration, research, stakeholder liaison, report writing, and administration.
3. Communication Intern
Unit: Stakeholder Relations Unit
- Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Communications.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Communications is a great advantage.
- Key Exposure Areas: Communication Strategy implementation, events coordination, brand management, publications, social media, intranet, website content, customer service, and stakeholder database management.
4. Learning Programmes Strategic Projects Intern
Unit: Risk & Compliance Unit (Learning Programmes)
- Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in HR Management/Development, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Management, or Project Management.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in these fields is highly beneficial.
- Key Exposure Areas: Administration of Learning Programmes projects, registration of learning programme agreements, stakeholder liaison, customer service, event organisation, and document control.
