What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an Auxiliary Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving incoming stock, including offloading trucks and moving items to quarantine areas.
- Organizing and packing stock onto correct shelves in the stores.
- Assisting with moving rolltainers to the dispatch area for outgoing deliveries.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized according to standard procedures (SOPs).
- Participating in regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Performing various manual and clerical tasks while strictly following Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and safety rules.
- Safely operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Who We’re Looking For (Requirements)
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics, Life Sciences, Physical Science, and English as subjects.
- Be physically fit and capable of repeatedly lifting heavy boxes.
- Reliable, a good team player, and willing to work in a temperature-controlled environment (cold-rooms).
- Computer literate.
- Possess strong planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, good time management, and interactive skills.
