This isn’t just any programme; it’s a comprehensive 3-year Millwright Apprenticeship designed to transform you into a qualified professional. You’ll work alongside experienced mentors, learning the ropes and contributing directly to Siqalo Foods’ operational success. There are 5 positions available, offering a fixed-term contract for the full three years.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this awesome opportunity, you need to meet a few key requirements:
- You must have a Grade 12 certificate with both Mathematics and Science.
- You should also have an N3–N6 qualification with relevant trade subjects.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.

What Does It Cover?

You’ll be involved in general mechanical maintenance, repairs, installations, fault finding, and optimizing production. This means you’ll be crucial in performing breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance, and driving initiatives to reduce breakdowns. You’ll also participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) activities, using problem-solving methodologies like Kaizen, Fishbone, and 5 Why. Plus, you’ll learn strict adherence to company safety rules, regulations, and 5S standards, and even get to coach and support other staff in developing engineering skills!
