Account Analyst

What You’ll Do as an Account Analyst

As an Account Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a central office-based contact point for customer service queries and requests.
• Providing essential administrative assistance for client portfolios.
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities to add significant value to clients.
• Daily monitoring of all loan facilities within your portfolio to ensure compliance with set parameters and conditions.

Who We’re Looking For

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of this experience must have been specifically within a Business Banking environment.
• You must have essential experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: A Diploma in Commerce or Banking.
• Ideal/Preferred: A Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce.

Knowledge & Skills

You should possess a strong understanding of:

• The features, benefits, and value propositions of various company product/service offerings.
• General banking practices and procedures.
• How Business Banking operates, including an understanding of business risks, industry risks, and financial requirements pertaining to the business market.
• Credit principles and practices, including knowledge of credit application processes, securities, and balance sheet requirements.
• The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).
• Administrative processes and procedures relevant to Business Banking transactions.
• Client relationship management and service principles.

Ideally, knowledge of competitor product offerings, channels, operational/marketing tactics, and Capitec/Business Bank systems and processes would be advantageous.
