Account Analyst

Capitec Bank Ltd is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill the role of Account Analyst in Vanderbijlpark.

Purpose Statement

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running and maintenance of portfolios by providing a central office-bound contact point for customer service queries/requests, administration assistance, and adding value to clients through the identification of cross-selling opportunities.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have at least5 years of experience, with1 year spent in the Business Banking environment. Experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications is essential.

Qualifications

The minimum qualification required is a Diploma in Commerce or Banking. A Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate should have knowledge of general banking practices and procedures, credit principles and practices, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate should also have competitor product offerings knowledge and Capitec/Business Bank systems and processes knowledge. The required skills include communications, negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and planning, organising, and coordination skills.

Conditions of Employment

The successful candidate should have a clear criminal and credit record.
